Il Santo martire dell’Inghilterra del XII secolo ha un filo diretto con la città pugliese. Qui, pochi anni fa, sono state ritrovate alcune sue reliquie nella chiesa Santa Maria Assunta. La sua vita e le sue gesta continuano a solcare la storia. Anche oggi resta un simbolo di fronte ai temi eterni che attraversano ogni giorno la coscienza dell’individuo: libertà e potere, amicizia e tradimento, onore e dovere.
